The NIH’s National Institute on Drug Abuse shows that Ohio is one of the top five states with the highest rates of opioid-related deaths. At this conference, you will gain insights on:

  • the opioid crisis and its impact on communities and families in Franklin County and Ohio
  • the effects of the opioid epidemic on those who work in early intervention and preschool
  • how to use a trauma-informed lens to work with those impacted by adverse childhood experiences
  •  how generational trauma impacts families
  • self-care strategies for educators, early childhood service providers and caregivers

This conference is open to all families, higher education students, preschool and EI providers, early childhood educators, professionals and administrators.
