The Childhood League Center is proud to launch the first licensed PLAY Project Center in the nation, outside of the founding center in Michigan.
The PLAY Project Center will provide training to professionals to become certified PLAY Project Consultants. Trainings and workshops will also be available for professionals in the medical and educational fields who are interested in learning more about the PLAY Project and how they can use it in their own setting.
In 2011, recognizing the value of the PLAY Project, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) determined that they would make PLAY Project accessible throughout the State of Ohio and launched a very important initiative.
Then, in 2015, the State of Ohio supported The Childhood League Center’s initiative to help bring PLAY Project to even more families throughout the region through the launching of the PLAY Project Center.
“I feel that the word that best describes the PLAY Project for me is JOY. PLAY helps families and children connect with joy. Seeing that joy – the joy in a parents’ faces and hearing the the joy in the child’s laugh – is wonderful.”
