What to expect during your first PLAY Project visit

Now that you are ready to start the PLAY Project with your child, here’s what you can expect during your first PLAY Project visit session.

Your PLAY Project Consultant will:

  • Assess your child’s levels of cognitive, language, adaptive, social and sensory functioning, as needed.
  • Discuss your child, your family and your needs to create a customized PLAY Plan.
  • Explain the PLAY Project intervention in depth and what his/her role is as your coach.
  • Observe and video record how your child plays in his/her natural environment with you.
