The PLAY Project helps parents develop better connections with their child through play and helps to improve their language, behavior, development and social skills.

The PLAY Project is designed to give families guidance, support and an effective treatment option. It is based on the DIR theory of Stanley Greenspan.
The difference between PLAY Project and DIR is that the PLAY Project is a more structured system, providing a community-based delivery system through in-home and school consultations.

All PLAY-based activities are tailored for each child based on their developmental level, strengths and needs. A PLAY Project Consultant collaborates with the family to determine appropriate activities and techniques as part of a PLAY Plan. The intensive intervention is fun and developmentally appropriate, making it easily applicable to a family’s daily activities.
The PLAY Plan empowers parents to build their skills and support their child with autism through the stages of development.
